I would recommend that she play with a team in her age group that will play higher level tournaments. My older daughter did the same as your daughter during her first summer of travel ball. Playing strong competition within her age group will benefit her more athletically and socially. Carolina Comets will have tryouts for all age groups in Mooresville on December 7th. The 12U team has heck of a Coach in Paul Luby. He really works hard to help build the players. Here is the link to the website. Tryout info is on the home page. Mooresville is about an hour drive from the east side of Winston-Salem. So could be should be in that one hour range you mentioned. www.cometsyouthsports.org |
