Chelsey Butler was a four year varsity letter winner in softball and track at Randleman High School. Chelsey was awarded numerous athletic awards during her high school career. Chelsey attended and played softball at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from which she graduated in 2014. She compiled a .300 overall batting average, in addition to over 40 career stolen bases, appeared in over 150 games and set a record for fastest home-to-home time with 10.2 seconds.
